We areseeking a dynamic and experienced International Tax Manager to joinour team. This individual will play a critical role in managing andoverseeing international tax laws and regulations, ensuringcompliance, and maximizing benefits from U.S. Income Tax Treaties.
The candidate will also be responsible for participating inbusiness development and must possess a broad technical knowledgeof US Outbound International Tax law and regulations forindividuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will have solidcomprehension of foreign tax issues such as tax credit calculationsand limitations, mutual fund reporting, and the new TCJA rules forinternational tax.
Responsibilities:
Research and interpretOutbound International Tax laws and regulations for planning andcompliance. Maximize benefits from U.S. Income Tax Treaties.
Participate in business development and strategic planning. Providetechnical expertise in US Outbound International Tax law andregulations for individuals and businesses. Handle foreign entityplanning and reporting including Foreign Trusts and Businesses.
Understand and manage foreign tax issues such as tax creditcalculations and limitations, mutual fund reporting, and the newTCJA rules for international tax. Oversee and review thepreparation of Forms 5471, 8992, 8865, 8832, 965, 8621 and1116/1118 and other related required disclosure statements. Ensurecompliance with international tax laws and regulations. Develop andimplement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities andrisks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,Taxation or a related field. An advanced degree (MST or JD) and/orCPA is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in anInternational Tax role, preferably in the Accounting Financeindustry. Extensive experience with 1040R. Comprehensive knowledgeof US Outbound International Tax law and regulations forindividuals and businesses. Proven experience with foreign entityplanning and reporting including Foreign Trusts and Businesses.
Solid understanding of foreign tax issues such as tax creditcalculations and limitations, mutual fund reporting, and the newTCJA rules for international tax. Proficient in overseeing andreviewing the preparation of Forms 5471, 8992, 8865, 8832, 965,8621 and 1116/1118 and other related required disclosurestatements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, anddecision-making skills. Strong leadership, project management, andteam-building abilities. Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills.
