Job Details ResponsibilitiesReview and manage staff deliverables including tax returns,extensions, tax planning calculations, and write

Review Compiled financialstatements for Corporations, Not for Profit entities, andPartnerships, including workpapers, accounting and adjustingentries, bank reconciliations, and client books and records.

Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individualand corporate estimated tax liability. Manage and monitor clientdeliverables and due dates. Prepare complex U.S. and multi

  • Profit Organizations.

Preparecomplex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate taxreturns. Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandumoutlining findings and conclusions. Respond to IRS and state agencyaudits, inquires, and tax notices. Communicate with IRS and clientsin connection with audits, inquires, and tax notices. Delegateprojects to staff that can handle them most efficiently and provideaccounting and tax assistance to staff as needed. Communicatedirectly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRSrepresentatives regarding various tax matters. Assist with businessdevelopment efforts, including but not limited to, meeting withprospective clients, preparing fee quotes and proposals, andevaluating clients’ needs. Lead department in knowledge ofsoftware, processes, and workflows. Assist with employee trainingfor new hires and ongoing employee training. Engage in consultingand special projects as requested by Management and Clients.

Qualifications:

CPA Certification required 3 years publicaccounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, Prosystem fx,and Adobe software. Proficient in QuickBooks or equivalentaccounting software desired. At minimum, must have sound knowledgeof basic functionality of QuickBooks or Bachelor’s degree inAccounting or related field required Master’s degree in Accountingwith an emphasis in tax preferred Three years of experiencepreparing all types of tax returns with a public CPA firm preferredMinimum of two years reviewing tax returns and compiled financialstatements with a public CPA firm preferred Interested in hearingmore?
