Tax Manager Position Available In Cobb, Georgia

The Intersect Group is working with a client in the Kennesaw, GA area that is seeking a Tax Manager to add to their team! This is with an exciting mission-based company in the manufacturing industry.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 4-6 years experience in tax accounting, 1-2 years at principal or manager level CPA strongly preferred Big 4 experience and/or corporate tax experience strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products Knowledge of OneSource Tax provision and compliance software

Position Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of US Federal and State income tax returns and estimated tax payments, with all supporting schedules, using OneSource Tax Compliance software Assist with internal tax research projects, including federal, state, and international income tax matters Compile US and International cash tax projections for company’s budgeting process Prepare income and sales tax reserves on a quarterly basis Develop relationships with international controllers and assist with other quarterly and annual tax needs Assist with monitoring global compliance and maintenance of worldwide filing tracker Assist with the compliance with company policies, federal tax report requirements, and SOX 404 Assist with the tracking and resolving of domestic income tax notices Assist with quarterly and annual worldwide provision process Assist with maintaining SOX 404 control documentation Responsible for preparing quarterly estimates and annual income tax returns
