Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experiencedPermanent Tax Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. Thisis an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional with astrong background in tax accounting to manage and lead our taxdepartment. The successful candidate will be responsible foroverseeing the organization’s tax planning and compliance with afocus on optimizing tax strategies, minimizing tax liabilities, andensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This positionrequires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations,excellent analytical skills, and a strong ability to lead andmanage a team.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the tax departmentto ensure effective tax strategies and compliance with all tax lawsand regulations. Oversee the preparation and review of federal andstate income tax returns and ensure their accuracy and compliance.

Implement tax strategies that minimize the organization’s taxliabilities and optimize tax benefits. Provide expert advice on taxmatters related to 1031 exchanges, S Corps, and high net worthindividuals. Conduct complex tax research and analysis to supporttax planning and compliance activities. Review and approve taxaccruals and reconciliations prepared by the tax department.

Collaborate with other departments to provide tax expertise andsupport on business transactions and initiatives. Keep abreast ofchanges in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization’stax policies and strategies are updated accordingly. Manage andmentor tax department staff to foster a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a related field ispreferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation isrequired. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager orsimilar role in the Accounting and Finance industry. Provenexperience with tax planning and compliance, including federal andstate income tax, 1031 exchanges, S Corps, and high net worthindividuals. In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance,and all related legislation. Excellent leadership and teammanagement skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to workunder pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in taxsoftware and Microsoft Office Suite. Interested in hearing more?
