Job Description
Overview Join a dynamic, fast-paced team where you’ll play a key role in driving compliance and strategy within our indirect tax function. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full lifecycle of indirect tax filings—including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across multiple tax types. You’ll also lead critical tax projects, develop and maintain essential data resources, and provide proactive support to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This is a high-impact role perfect for a detail-oriented problem-solver who’s passionate about tax strategy and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Own the process for Indirect taxes, including sales/use, property taxes and tax incentives, as well as audits for these areas. Manages all related compliance for sales/use taxes and licensing covering business units across manufacturing and contracting service business operations. Manages the functional compliance for real estate and business property taxes for all business segments. Direct support to business leaders as a reliable subject matter partner. Frequent interaction with cross-functional teams, vendors or internal/external customers/partners May manage a team. Qualifications BA/BS, Finance or Accounting, Tax emphasis a Plus. Masters/CPA Preferred Ability to interpret and administer sales/use tax policies across multiple business units. 7-8 years of increasing experience in the areas of sales/use and property taxes, and tax incentives, plus related finance/accounting experience, with 0 to 2 years of people management experience preferred. Knowledge of sales/use and property tax laws and regulations covering all 50 US states. Ability to manage, direct and resolve issues for multiple/ concurrent sales/use and property tax audits. Proficient knowledge of general accounting and data analytics relating to sales transactions. Strong decision-making skills. Ability to work well in matrix and cross functionally. Strong relationship development and trusted partnering skills. Ability to motivate and manage in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
