We are recruiting a Tax Manager to oversee and enhance our tax compliance, planning, and reporting processes. This role offers a unique chance to build and refine tax strategies, work closely with senior leadership, and drive meaningful contributions to our financial success. Key Responsibilities As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the company’s tax function, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and providing strategic guidance in an evolving tax landscape. Lead tax operations by managing the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all tax filings while collaborating with treasury to forecast and manage cash tax payments. Refine tax reporting processes to improve accuracy and alignment with financial statements, including monthly reconciliation of tax accounts and variance resolution with the accounting team. Review and manage tax provisions, including deferred tax assets and liabilities, ensuring compliance with ASC 740. Serve as a key liaison during tax audits, partnering with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues effectively. Lead strategic tax initiatives that support business growth, drive efficiencies, and mitigate risks. Partner with accounting to ensure proper tax treatment of financial transactions and corporate structures while maintaining timely updates of the organization’s structure charts. Conduct tax research as needed to support business decisions and risk management efforts. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred 5+ years of corporate tax experience, including transaction tax Strong background in tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning within a corporate environment. Experience with multi-state tax filings and working with complex tax structures.
