Corporate Income Tax Manager Position Available In Morris, New Jersey

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in tax issues including multistate tax planning, accounting for income taxes, structuring, and due diligence. Manage state tax compliance including gathering information for third party return preparation. Review state tax returns, state tax apportionment calculations, and state tax modifications. Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues and implications, including, nexus considerations, apportionment methodology, and combined filings. Lead state tax controversy cases; including examinations, audit defense planning, and notice responses. Leverage technology and other resources to capture efficiencies and technical accuracies. Assist with other tax ad hoc projects.

Required Skills:

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete task under multiple deadlines. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong technical knowledge of complex tax issues.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree and a minimum of 7 years of tax experience.
