Public Accounting Tax Manager Position Available In Monroe, New York

Job Description:

We are currently working with a large established CPA firm thatis looking to add a professional Tax Manager to their growingorganization. This is a stable firm with strong ties in the market,providing valuable expertise in the tax and financial services. Dueto the company’s continued expansion, they are in need of a TaxManager to work directly with a highly motivated staff and otherSenior Staff Members.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The tax manager willwork directly with a team of highly motivated staff accountantsProvide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clientsComplex tax and audit work for a variety of clients and diverseindustries Take full responsibility for services of variousassigned clients under the supervision of senior managers andpartners, including negotiating, billing, and collecting fees Meetregularly with business and community contacts to maintain anetwork within the local market Provide timely and completeevaluations and counseling for the staff accountants

Requirements &Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or otherrelated field MBA would be a plus CPA License 5 years of provenexperience in public accounting, in a tax or audit Must have theability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service Mustbe able to lead and motivate a team of highly motivated individualsto a final goal Must have strong multi-tasking skills Applicantsmust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsRepresent the firm with integrity at all times
