Services include personal and business tax preparation, tax planning, and condo/coop audits.

Tax Partner Role:

As the Tax Partner at our tax and audit practice, you will play a pivotal role in leading our tax department, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to our clients. Reporting directly to the firm’s partners, you will oversee a team of tax professionals and deliver exceptional client service.
You will be involved in developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize clients’ financial positions. Provide expert advice on complex tax matters. Research tax issues and propose innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities.
The Tax Partner will serve as one of the primary points of contact for high-profile clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand clients’ business objectives and tailor tax strategies to meet their specific needs. Address client inquiries, resolve tax-related issues, and ensure timely delivery of services.
You will oversee tax return preparation and review, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and advise on compliance, Identifying and mitigating tax-related risks. You will play a crucial part in leading and developing a team of tax professionals, providing constructive feedback on tax return work, delegating tasks effectively, managing workloads, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
The Tax Partner will collaborate with partners and senior management to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion and participate in client meetings and presentations.

Tax Partner Background Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA certification required
10+ years experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, preferably within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with expertise in individuals, corporations/small businesses, and partnerships.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team of tax professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
Strategic thinker with a client-centric mindset, capable of delivering innovative tax solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs.
Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
