We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth (HNW) clients, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns while providing strategic guidance on tax-related matters. Key Responsibilities
Manage and prepare federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and trusts.
Conduct tax research and analysis to provide insights on tax implications for various entities and transactions.
Review and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations for pass-through entities and trust estate taxes.
Collaborate with clients to develop tax planning strategies that optimize their tax position and compliance.
Supervise and mentor junior staff on tax compliance processes and best practices.
Assist in resolving tax issues and inquiries from tax authorities.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably with high-net-worth clients.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, especially regarding S-Corps, C-Corps, and trusts.
Experience preparing form 1040s and handling complex tax scenarios.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
