About the Company – We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires effective communication and a collaborative mindset to support the department’s overall goals and objectives. About the Role –
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns, including Corporate, S Corporation, Partnership, Individual, and Exempt Organization filings. Oversee and assist in the quality control review of tax returns. Support international tax planning and compliance, including filings and waiver submissions. Review and manage quarterly tax projections and estimated tax payment requirements. Coordinate the year-end shareholder bonus process. Maintain compliance with internal financial and tax reporting policies and procedures. Assign, manage, and track projects and tasks for Tax Staff. Supervise the preparation and filing of 1099 forms. Draft and review tax correspondence; manage tax audits and respond to tax notices. Oversee entity formation and dissolution, including preparation of formation documents and required filings. Provide guidance on tax software usage and troubleshoot technical issues. Review and file annual reports, franchise tax returns, and other state compliance documents. Assist with client billing for tax-related services.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a strong academic record. Active CPA license required. Minimum 7 years of experience in a public tax practice or business management firm. Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and tax preparation software. Experience within a business management firm or the entertainment industry is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
