Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Tax Manager to join our clients team in Nashville. In this role, you will lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. You will work a balanced schedule of 40 hours per week, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the corporate tax team, providing guidance and support. Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns. Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position. Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation. Collaborate with other departments to provide tax-related insights and support. Prepare and present tax reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax. Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team. (1 year of management exp preferred) Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
