The Tax Supervisor will be responsible for providing overall support in tax for assigned business work teams and provide aid to other tax staff members with their assigned business work teams. Responsibilities:
Prepare income tax returns including but not limited to Individual, Partnership, Corporation, and S Corporation Assist with the creation of workpaper schedules to support trial balance for self-employed individuals Prepare open item lists for clients, compile workpapers and client files in tax software, and review client information for accuracy prior to completing a tax return Assist in scanning and organizing appropriate documentation Prepare tax correspondence and assist in communication with tax authorities Conduct tax research, as needed Assist Tax Manager with entity creation and dissolution
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required Master of Accountancy or Taxation, preferred 5 years of relevant tax experience Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or be eligible to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam Experience within public accounting, business management, or entertainment industry, preferred Basic knowledge of federal and state tax compliance #IND123
