The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws. Your expertise in accounting software and customer service will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Analyze financial data to determine the best tax strategies for clients. Utilize accounting software to input data efficiently and accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their tax situations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, changes in legislation, and industry best practices. Assist clients with financial sales inquiries related to tax preparation services. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all tax-related tasks. Perform 10-key typing for data entry tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Sage is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to market services effectively. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in client interactions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients’ needs simultaneously. Familiarity with financial sales concepts is advantageous. Prior experience as a clerk is preferred but not mandatory.
