The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, enabling them to assist clients in preparing their tax returns accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills to ensure the highest level of service for our clients. Duties Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Review financial records and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws. Provide guidance to clients on tax-related matters, including deductions, credits, and liabilities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations and changes in the law. Utilize accounting software to input data, generate reports, and facilitate the preparation process. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address any concerns. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the filing process. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently. Requirements Strong math skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts. Experience in Tax preparation Must have OWN clients Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Must have PTIN Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the capability to meet deadlines effectively. Previous experience in tax preparation is highly desirable.
