The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, ensuring accurate preparation and filing of tax returns for our clients. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be working closely with clients to gather necessary information and provide guidance throughout the tax preparation process. Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Gather financial information from clients through interviews and questionnaires. Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage client accounts effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain confidentiality of client information while adhering to ethical standards. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice. Assist clients in understanding financial concepts related to their tax situations. Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. Strong understanding of financial sales principles and customer service practices. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Solid grasp of financial concepts, math, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of complex tax matters. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all filings. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
