Member Service Specialist Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional member service on a wide variety of deposit, loan transactions, and new account processing. Effectively assesses members’ needs and makes appropriate referrals for SCCU products and services. Resolves member issues and addresses member questions accurately and in a timely manner. Consistently demonstrates effective sales and service skills. Consults with members regarding SCCU products and services; recommends additional products and services to meet member needs. Periodically serves as floor manager to assess member’s needs and direct them to the appropriate source ensuring maximum lobby efficiency and minimize member waiting time. Performs all aspects of processing transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and the sale of monetary instruments in order to provide complete member service. Balances cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to ensure member account integrity. Services existing deposit and loan accounts in order to meet member requirements and exceed expectations.
Member Service Specialist Requirements:
6 months prior experience in customer service and cash handling Sales experience and ability to recognize referral opportunities A great team player and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment Effective problem solving skills
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Schedule:
Full Time during Branch hours of operation: Monday
- Friday 7:45am
- 6:15pm. Saturdays, Alternating on Rotation, 8:30am
- 1:30pm.
Education Preferred High School or better
