has an immediate opening for a teller with a credit union in the

ALEXANDRIA

area. This company has over 60 years of experience in serving the state of Louisiana. This position will be 40 hours per week and paying $15.75 per hour and will last for 6-9 months.

Bank Teller Duties and Responsibilities:

Is responsible for providing customers with prompt and efficient services on a variety of transactions.
Cashes checks, savings withdrawals and makes cash advances; confirms necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits; makes decisions when questionable items are presented for cashing.
Receives and processes loan and other payments and stop payments.
Issues official checks
Balances cash drawer daily and assists with processing of ATM and the vault.
Assists with night depository duties; log bags; processes deposits; makes change orders; issues receipts and returns bags to customers.
Counts, checks, and packages coins and currency.
Cross-sells financial institution services.
Answer telephones and directs callers to proper bank personnel participates in meetings.

Bank Teller Requirements:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and enjoys a fast-paced environment
Cash handling experience
Preferred 1 or more years of teller experience
Professional with great customer service skills
