Description We are looking for a success-driven Part-Time Teller to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts. This is a Long-term Contract position ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and banking operations. The role involves delivering exceptional member experiences while efficiently handling financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and promoting the organization’s products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing members’ needs effectively.
• Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with precision and attention to detail.
• Identify member needs through meaningful conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Adhere to operational policies and procedures, including cash drawer settlement, audit requirements, and compliance regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily transaction records and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Stay informed about the organization’s offerings, including digital banking tools, and assist members with navigating these technologies.
• Build strong relationships with members and colleagues to foster trust and confidence.
• Utilize desktop applications like Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to support operational tasks.
• Demonstrate adaptability by embracing new technologies and changes within the banking industry. Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in cash handling or banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial transactions and customer service practices.
• Familiarity with the banking industry, including compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain balanced cash drawers.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with members and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service in a member-centric environment.
