The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency while also educating customers on TD’s products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions.

Depth & Scope:

+ Executes TD’s Brand promise to customers by consistently executing appropriate behaviors to deliver a Legendary Customer experience in the Store + Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently + Processes cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy + Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary + Engages in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately + Understands customer preferences with banking (when and how they want) and educates customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs + Acts as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations; offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring the customer to appropriate partner to provide solutions + Makes sound decisions and provides timely problem resolution, escalating more difficult issues to management + Ensures compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot
