Universal Banker (Teller and New Accounts) Town & Country Bank Rolla, MO 65401 Town & Country Bank is currently seeking a full-time Universal Banker (teller & new accounts) position at our Rolla South branch location. This detailed, oriented person should have outstanding customer service and cash handling experience. We offer a competitive salary and a great benefit package.
Position Summary:
Processes transactions to bank customers in an accurate, friendly, and timely manner giving our customers a pleasant banking experience. Assist customers by identifying needs and building a business relationship with that customer; this includes referring to other lines of business. Admits authorized customers into safe deposit vault and backs up personal bankers in opening new accounts.
Principal Accountabilities:
Processes Transactions Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer. Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Places HOLDS on accounts for uncollected funds. Sells cashier’s checks, money orders, and other specialized items. Balances cash drawer. Meets or exceeds teller difference standards. Maintains authorized cash supply. Adheres to operational and security policies and procedures. Assists teller supervisor with vault and ATM duties. Processces transaction effiently and accurately. Customer Service Delivers an excellent customer experience. Ensures customer problems, requests, and other issues are resolved in a effective, efficient manner. Calls customers by name and thanks them for their business by name. Assists with customer check orders and ATM/debit card maintenance and ordering. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Is responsible for all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act. Customer Accounts Opens personal and business checking, savings, money market and time certificate accounts in an accurate and professional manner. Completes new account procedures to comply with policy. Opens and assists customers with safe deposit services. Admits authorized customers to safe deposit vault area. Opens Individual Retirement accounts for customers. Places stop payments on checks when requested. Changes addresses and places alert messages on accounts when necessary. Assists customers in check orders and ATM/debit card maintenance and ordering. Adheres to operational and security policies and procedures.
