Job Description Assist in the support of Client Experience Officers byassisting in the daily maintenance of existing relationships. Thisincludes support for Electronic Banking, Mobile Banking, BillPay,HorizonXE, Remote Deposit Capture, Electronic Funds Transfersetc. Work closely with the Client Experience Officer/ClientExperience Relationship Team to handle any client retail depositneeds in the absence of Client Experience Officer. Research and verify account information and resolve problemsfor clients as necessary. Educate clients on bank services, products, and digitalcapabilities by developing and maintaining a strong workingknowledge of all relevant Bank products and services. Perform standard retail banking responsibilities, such as: safedeposit box services, cash checks, process credit card advances,redeem U.S. Savings Bonds, issue and sign cashier checks and loanproceeds checks, and accept loan payments and deposits, verifyingcash and endorsements, and issue receipts. May include answering and directing incoming client phone callsby discerning the levels of priority as well as escalation of callsto the appropriate team member, as necessary. Balance transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals
Essential Skills, Education and Experience:
Job Description Cash handling accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. Ability to effectively communicate while displaying theprofessional demeanor which is identified with Southern FirstBank. Ability to maintain regular consistent and professionalattendance, punctuality and professional appearance. Ability to operate computer and other standard office equipmentsuch as a typewriter, 10 key calculator/adding machine, copier, andfax machine. Ability to multi-task while maintaining a rapid response ratefor acknowledging clients in person as well as incomingcalls. Knowledge of retail banking rules, regulations, policies andprocedures Successful completion of all training deemed necessary by theBank.
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent. Banking Experience, ideally on both the teller and platformroles.
Experience using bank systems:
Horizon XE This position must be able to sit for long periods of time asposition involves majority of time spent at desk andcomputer. Little to no travel required. Standard office environment with climate control, andsufficient lighting.
