We are seeking dedicated Lead Customer ServiceRepresentatives to provide excellent customer service in dailytransactions, customer inquiries and problem resolution inaccordance with Fifth Third Bank policies. As a Lead CustomerService Representative with Fifth Third, you will refer customersto the appropriate business partners for product and service needsuncovered during business transactions and/or conversations. Youwill exercise considerable independent judgment as you performdaily office responsibilities alongside other staff members tomaintain the efficient operation of the financial center. You willconsistently meet and exceed sales referral goals as set bymanagement, promote good customer relations with a friendlydemeanor and willingness to help at all times and honor customerconfidentiality. You will also continuously increase yourprofessional knowledge and skill set through seminars and in-housetraining, act with confidence to find answers to customer questionsand follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct andEthics. JobResponsibilities As a Lead Customer Service Representative with Fifth Third Bank,you will develop rapport with the customer base, greet them byname, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problemresolutions and display a caring attitude. You will performfinancial center opening and closing duties, provide cashwithdrawal, check signing, transaction approvals and manage nightdeposits. You will also oversee the teller line, balance ATMs andvaults and process credit card applications. Additionalresponsibilities of the

Lead Customer Service Representativeinclude:
  • Initiating conversations with customers to uncover their needs andreferring them to the appropriate business partners to meetpersonal and financial center referral and salesgoals
  • Personally maintaining a balancing record, finding and correctingerrors and asking for help in this process asneeded
  • Handling customer issues with professionalism and seamlesslydirecting complex issues to management staff
  • Training and developing new and current Customer ServiceRepresentatives and identifying other Customer ServiceRepresentatives who are capable of training new staffmembers
  • Monitoring operations behind the Customer Service Representativeline, delegating work and taking issues to the Customer ServiceManager as needed
  • Acting as the contact person for financial center personnel inregards to Customer Service Representative activity, answeringquestions and helping management to keep Customer ServiceRepresentatives up-to-date on all changes
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial center policies,procedures, products and services Preferred JobRequirements As a Lead Customer Service Representative with Fifth Third Bank,you must have exceptional interpersonal, written and verbalcommunication skills, strong leadership skills and excellent timemanagement and problem-solving skills.

You must be able to interactconfidently and comfortably with the public, take initiative andutilize sound judgment to make decisions and work positively andcooperatively with a team. Additional preferredrequirements for the

Lead Customer Service Representativeinclude:
  • Minimum 1 year banking experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of banking retail policies and proceduresto the degree that you can perform essential duties with minimalsupervision
  • Advanced math abilities
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
