Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of teller operations within the branch and ensuring the daily activities of the teller line are performed in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities Orders and conducts cash management duties. Maintains knowledge of teller line operational procedures. Provides working leadership and guidance to tellers through assignment of work and by providing technical guidance with good leadership skills. Motivates others as necessary. Participates in branch incentive programs by promoting and participating in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union’s business plan and goals. Assisting in the coaching, training, and development of tellers. Assists tellers in solving member problems and aids tellers with balancing problems by servicing as an operational reference. Researches and resolves member questions, problems, or concerns by telephone, written correspondence, email, or in person. Orders and maintains vault cash. Balances and maintains cash dispensing machines. Adheres to and enforces all security procedures as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Refers and cross-sells credit union products and services to meet or exceed sales goals. Investigates teller losses and institutes a corrective flow of work. Responsible for maintenance and security of all negotiable instruments housed in the branch. Performs other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Elan, order cashing systems, CMC Flex, and Microsoft Office suite.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years related experience and/or training in sales is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
