Teller Supervisor, Floater Position Available In Queens, New York

Summary:

Monitors the daily customer service and sales related activities of the teller staff, ensuring accuracy, integrity and security of Bank records and assets associated with teller operations in the Branch. When required will monitor and report on the sales referral activity of the branch teller staff. To accept and process all customer transactions courteously, accurately and efficiently. As a Floater, the TLS will be required to travel between assigned branches as needed.

• Process teller related transactions in a timely manner while interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner.
• Exercise prudent judgment within established guidelines in key areas such as cash management, customer identification, transaction processing and authorization and teller staff supervision.
• Maintain operational and/or supervisory control over branch cash, negotiable item inventories (e.g., teller’s checks, money orders, American Express etc.) and supervises record maintenance and monthly audit compliance among the teller staff.
• Train tellers in daily back up functions: Branch proof, ATM proof, check and daily work scanning, BSA requirements
• Assist with staff scheduling, monthly audits, customer inquiries and resolves problems within limitations.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly reports as required by branch management.
• Perform CSR functions as necessary.
• Investigate teller differences
• Frequently travel to different branches to assist branch staff as needed

Education:

High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree or higher a plus)

Knowledge and Experience:

• One to two years related experience required
• Proficient in Computer Skills such as
