Maintain accurate transactional records. Conduct a variety of transactions for members including savings, share draft/checking, as well as credit account payments in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Represent the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate member service in the processing of transactions. Maintain privacy of member account information. Greet all members by name as they walk into the Credit Union with a friendly greeting and smile. Responsible for specified cash drawer to balance and maintain on a daily basis. Ensure accuracy and timeliness when processing transactions. Ensure teller station is secured, to include but not be limited to: cash, monetary instruments, member data, and computer workstation. Attend to member needs concerning their accounts to include deposits, withdrawals, balances, loan payments and any other questions. Project a professional and positive relationship and image to the membership. Answer phones to support members with account procedures, questions, transfers, creation of checks, balances and other requests as necessary. Assist other tellers with member needs when necessary. Perform duties pertaining to Credit Union business to maintain filing system, open and closed card files, member loan folders and daily paperwork as necessary. Open and close new and existing member accounts when necessary. Cross sell Credit Union products when appropriate.
