Job Locations US-TN-Memphis Overview The Head Teller will drive a best in class branch experience forcustomers and teammates by leading, coaching, and managing in fiveprimary areas of responsibility: customer engagement, serviceexecution, operational excellence, leadership, and management. Witha deep understanding of Renasant Bank policies and procedures, andcustomer service standards, the Head Teller will spend time rolemodeling, leading, and inspiring the team to deliver exceptionalservice to all customers, while maintaining sound operations. HeadTellers will lead by example in recognizing and referring salesopportunities to other bank representatives and/or lines ofbusiness when appropriate, while acting in compliance with bankpolicies and procedures. Head Tellers will oversee and share in allTeller and Senior Teller responsibilities. Head Tellers will oftenserve in a leadership capacity for the teller experience, and forthe branch, when the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager is notavailable.

Responsibilities An effective Head Teller is capable of driving a best in classbranch experience in five primary areas of responsibility: Customerengagement, service execution, operational excellence, leadership,and management. Execute and coach the teller customerengagement process with each Teller to ensure there are no breaksin service or sales opportunities to help a customer Maintain and role model service knowledge standards inconjunction with related regulations, policies and procedures Process customer transactions effectively and efficiently,including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and draws,official checks, etc. Execute daily operations including balancing, suppliesordering, balancing the ATM and vault, and perform branch captureprocedures. Recognize/identify all customer needs, cues and clues in everytransaction and properly refer customers to the platform for anadditional needs based conversation Protect the bank from unnecessary risk by following compliance,risk and operational procedures Assist with all monthly and quarterly branch assessments Mentor and onboard all new Tellers – create a great experiencefor all new Tellers when they join the team. Ensure all training iscompleted Participate in interviewing, selecting and trainingteammates Supervise all Tellers and provide override approval ontransactions, oversee daily personnel and team balancing of tellerdrawers Help lead, with the Branch Manager/Assistant Manager, sales,service and operational meetings, including security meetings Contribute to employee performance assessments, includingdisciplinary action planning and coaching for improvedperformance Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. College educationpreferred, but not required Minimum of 2 years of cash handling experience, one of whichmust be successful teller experience Minimum of 1 year leadership experience Minimum of 1 year customer experience in a sales environmentpreferred Proven track record of leadership, sales management, andcoaching Ability to produce individual and team sales and customerexperience results Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of teamwork; ability to work cooperatively in ateam environment Attention to detail with strong record of accuracy in handlingof transactions Comfortable using a variety of technology software products toprocess transactions Proven time management and organizational skills, ability toeffectively handle multiple priorities and adapt effectively asbusiness needs and pace changes Ability to travel for training, other developmentopportunities, and between branches, as needed Physical Demands Thephysical demands described are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functionsof this job.
