SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
The Peak Time Teller is a part-time position and provides exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing financial transactions during the banks highest traffic periods. This position plays a key role in supporting branch operations by ensuring timely service and maintaining compliance standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is available to work specifically on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position performs the following duties, including but not limited to: Greet customers and provide prompt, professional, and friendly service. Accurately process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing. Maintain and balance a cash drawer, adhering to cash handling policies and security procedures. Refer customers to appropriate banking services and products when opportunities arise. Resolve basic customer questions or issues and escalate as necessary. Follow all bank policies and procedures, including federal and state compliance requirements. Contribute to a positive team environment and support branch goals.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
This position has a strict schedule requirement: Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays only Except when a holiday falls on a Monday; in those cases, Tuesday is an acceptable workday. Timecards will only be approved for hours worked on these specified days. Approximately 1522 hours per week, depending on branch needs. Flexibility outside of these days is not available.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior teller, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn internal banking systems.
