Position Description:
Responsible forcoordinating the financial activities for the University of AlabamaHealth Services Foundation (HSF) and ensuring accurate and timelyreporting of financial results. Works with the CFO to oversee theplanning, organizing, staffing, and directing of the accountingprocesses for UAHSF, as well as assisting with the management ofthe annual budgeting process. Oversees Financial InformationSystems structures changes and staff to facilitate system changesand improvements.
Position Requirements:
Position requires aBachelor’s degree in an accounting-related field and ten years’experience in a high-level financial management capacity in asimilar facility. A Master’s degree and experience with the Lawsonaccounting system is preferred.
Currently licensed as a CertifiedPublic Accountant (CPA) by the American Institute of CertifiedPublic Accountants (AICPA) is required.
