Controller 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Madison, AL 35756 We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our client’s team on a long-term contract basis in Madison, Alabama. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in general ledger management, month-end close processes, and financial oversight. Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Oversee month-end close procedures, including reconciliation and reporting of financial statements. Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain smooth financial operations. Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial goals are met. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting workflows and systems. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Maintain accurate documentation and records for auditing and reporting purposes. Assist in the implementation and use of NetSuite for enhanced financial management. Proven experience in a Controller role or similar financial position. Strong knowledge of general ledger management and month-end close processes. Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations. Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities.
