Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of our Ob-Gyn clinics. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (A/P)

Operations:

Oversee all A/P activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Payroll Management:

Administer payroll, including processing, compliance, and reporting. 401k and

Profit Sharing Administration:

Manage employee retirement plans and profit-sharing programs.

Sales and Payroll Taxes:

Prepare and file sales and payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Reconciliation of Financial Statements and Records:

Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, financial records, and accounts.

Monitoring Expenditures and Budgeting:

Track and control expenditures, assist in budget preparation, and monitor budget performance.

Preparation of Financial Statements and Reporting:

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for review by the Administrator.

Financial Analysis and Forecasting:

Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and coordinate with external auditors during audits.

System and Process Optimization:

Continuously improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in a healthcare or medical practice setting.

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in other financial software.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Organizational Skills:

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff.

Ethics:

High ethical standards and integrity in financial management.
