Help oversee the plant and live operations accounting staff. Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, preparing and reporting financial performance. Assist in monthly closing process, and creation of performance and financial reports. Monitor and report cost drivers, operational performance and variances to stated standards. Assist with general ledger, identifying fluctuations and root causes. Mentor, coach and train employees, encouraging career development while providing consistent feedback. Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent; preferably in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field 4+ years relevant accounting experience; preferably within a similar manufacturing environment CPA certification preferred Knowledge of financial indicators and product cost modeling; preferably within meat processing Expert technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Access Knowledge of Adage, M-Tech or other similar systems/ software preferred
