Controller Position Available In Morgan, Alabama

Job Description This candidate will be working as aController supporting a large regional utilities/construction company that is based near Huntsville, AL, as well as their sister companylocated in West Palm Beach, FL. The company in West Palm was recently acquired, and they need someone to help implement and set up a new accounting system. They will report up to the president of the acquired company and have a dotted line to the CFO. This will be a very hands-on controller role, where they will act as senior level accountant on the team. They will support a union-based payroll group, reconciling their balance sheets, month end, quarter end, and year end closings, as well as accounting journal entries. There will be clerical staff underneath them to help, but thecontroller will be ultimately responsible for the new systems. The salary range is between $95,000-$110,000 depending on experience.
