Salary:
$125,000 – $150,000 per year A bitabout us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PermanentController to join our Finance team. This is a pivotal role thatwill oversee the company’s financial operations, drive financialstrategy, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Theideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financialaccounting, forecasting, and analysis, along with a deepunderstanding of general ledger functions. The successful candidatewill be responsible for managing all aspects of our accountingoperations, including the production of periodic financial reports,maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set ofcontrols designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of thecompany’s reported financial results, and ensure that reportedresults comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Job DetailsResponsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the company,including the development and management of budgets, preparation offinancial statements and reporting to company executives and theboard. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve thefinancial objectives of the business. Ensure compliance with allinternal controls, regulatory requirements, and professionalstandards. Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financialforecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthlyfinancial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatoryreporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure qualitycontrol over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies tomaintain and strengthen internal controls. Manage and comply withlocal, state, and federal government reporting requirements and taxfilings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is a plus. Minimum of 3years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporatefinance, and information analysis. Proficient in the use of MSOffice and financial management software (e.g. SAP). Ability tostrategize and solve problems. Strong leadership and organizationalskills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ananalytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
