Capital Controller – Multiple Positions Position Available In Washington, Alabama

AM/NS Calvert seeks Capital Controller to provide financial accounting and analysis support for capital investment (Capex) projects and for general operations as needed at Calvert AL facility. Multiple positions available.

Daily duties include:

Support Capex Team projects with tracking and reporting of transactions and expenditures Measures and monitors Capex project financial and budget performance Creates and maintains project level accounts Prepares monthly reporting metrics, forecasts, and presentation to local area management and external stakeholders Prepare projects close out financial information Prepares and analyzes cost variance analysis reporting Performs financial analysis of investing proposals, prepares capital requests and provide proper ROI documentation Supports budgeting process through analysis and forecasting Enforces company accounting policies and controls for projects Support general month-end account closing activities as needed Implement and enforce company financial accounting policies in general operations as needed. Must have Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with emphasis on accounting (foreign equivalent accepted). Must have 2 years of financial accounting/analysis services in steel industry or related metals/minerals industry.
