Job Description A full-time Controller is needed to lead all accounting, compliance, and HR functions at a manufacturing facility located in Pocahontas, AR. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees financial operations and human resources, playing a key role in both strategic planning and day-to-day management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, manage tax matters, and maintain internal controls.
Lead monthly closes, audits, forecasts, job costing, and margin analysis.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Enforce policies, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safety and workers’ compensation programs.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting role.
Deep understanding of GAAP, budgeting, and financial systems.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Striven).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Experience managing HR functions, including recruiting and compliance.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
