Corporate Assistant Controller Job Description:
We have an opportunity available for a Assistant Controller to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. Ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, strong software skills, & excellent attention to detail. .
Assistant Controller Responsibilities:
Supervise Staff Accountants. Budget Preparation and Financial Statement Analysis Process journal entries to ensure proper recording of all business transactions. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements & other financial statements. Prepare and review State and Federal annual cost reports. Month end review of financial results for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Coordinate all audits.
Qualifications:
Accounting or Finance Degree Minimum 10 yrs experience in Accounting Exceptional attention to details, prioritizing & organization skill set Experience in processing payroll tax returns and accounts payable electronic invoicing & workflow a plus.
