Job Description

Controller 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Middletown, CT 06457 We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut, as part of a long-term contract opportunity within the manufacturing industry. This role will require strong expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance, while playing a key role in supporting management decisions through accurate financial insights. Responsibilities:

Oversee monthly financial closing processes and prepare comprehensive reports. Consolidate financial data to produce accurate and timely financial results. Communicate financial outcomes and insights to Group Controlling and other stakeholders. Coordinate and prepare detailed management and financial statements. Develop and monitor plant productivity metrics to evaluate performance. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations. Maintain accurate cost and inventory data to support financial planning. Utilize ERP systems such as Epicor and Hyperion Enterprise for financial management. Analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial processes. Proven experience in accounting functions and financial operations. Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial planning. Proficiency with ERP systems such as Epicor and Hyperion Enterprise. Expertise in preparing and consolidating financial statements. Familiarity with productivity and performance metrics in a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards. Strong communication skills to effectively present financial results to stakeholders.
