Responsibilities of the Controller Lead financial planning,budgeting, and cost accounting functions. Analyze manufacturingcosts and prepare reports on cost variances. Collaborate withmanufacturing and product management teams to optimize productcosting. Develop and maintain standard cost rates and conductmargin analysis. Prepare and present financial statements, ensuringaccuracy in reporting and forecasting. Oversee inventorymanagement, including the annual physical inventory process.
Implement and refine cost accounting systems to improve efficiency.
Conduct financial analyses for investment decisions and new productdevelopment. Work closely with corporate financial teams to ensurecompliance with financial regulations. Provide strategic insightsand recommendations based on financial data. Preferred Requirementsof the Controller 10 year’s in cost accounting or finance within amanufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred. CPA orMBA preferred. Proficiency in JD Edwards or other ERP systems,Microsoft Office Suite, and HFM. Strong knowledge of GAAP, costaccounting principles, and financial forecasting. Ability to leadteams, collaborate across departments, and present financialinsights effectively.
