Salary:

$90,000 – $140,000 per year

Job Details
Responsibilities
As the Construction Controller, you’ll lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance across all construction projects.

Your core duties will include:

+ Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, including WIP reporting
+ Managing project cost tracking, job costing, and variance analysis
+ Coordinating with project managers to align financial performance with operational goals
+ Handling all internal reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
+ Managing accounting staff and systems (ideally with Foundation Software or similar platforms)
+ Streamlining AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger functions
+ Supporting executive leadership with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
Background We’re Looking For
+ 5 or more years in construction accounting, with leadership experience preferred
+ Strong knowledge of

GAAP, WIP

schedules, and job costing
+ Experience with construction accounting software (Foundation Software a major plus)
+ Hands-on and collaborative leadership style
+ CPA or advanced accounting degree is a plus but not required
