Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This role will be integral to the transformation of our financial processes, with a focus on streamlining and modernizing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP and QuickBooks and will be responsible for overseeing various levels of financial reporting, including inventory management, taxation, and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in transforming and improving financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial operations.
  • Manage and oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Handle all levels of financial reporting, including inventory control, tax filings, and cost accounting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to support decision-making at all levels.
  • Maintain and monitor the implementation of SAP and QuickBooks for financial processes, ensuring proper integration and use across departments.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive efficiency improvements.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Strong experience with SAP and QuickBooks is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading process improvements or financial system upgrades.
