Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director with a CPA license to lead our financial operations. This role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, and strategy development while managing a growing finance team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct financial planning and analysis by developing comprehensive annual budgets, creating detailed forecasts, and overseeing cash flow management to ensure liquidity and financial stability across all operations. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executives, board members, and investors, ensuring transparency and providing actionable insights into financial performance and trends. Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and return on investment, while advising on venture capital and private equity fundraising initiatives, including structuring deals and negotiating terms to support organizational growth. Manage all accounting operations, including payroll processing, tax filings, risk management, and loan compliance, while ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations, and coordinating with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred. Florida State CPA license required; CFA certification is a plus. 2+ years of experience in banking, investing, or accounting, with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and advanced spreadsheet skills. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
