Available for qualified candidates Position Overview A leading construction firm is seeking a Regional Controller / Director of Project Accounting to provide strategic financial leadership across two high-growth business units (South Florida and Hawaii), with a combined revenue base of $1.2B. This role involves oversight of the accounting function, leadership of a 30-member accounting team, and close collaboration with senior leadership to align financial strategies with operational goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee accounting operations and financial reporting on CMiC ERP across both business units Ensure timely monthly close processes, WIP forecasting, and regular financial management reports Partner with project teams on contract review, project setup, billing, and client meetings Drive recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing project accounting staff Implement internal control processes and continuous improvement initiatives Manage annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions Collaborate with treasury functions for cash management and collections Support annual external audit and year-end reporting Perform other responsibilities and strategic projects as directed by senior leadership Qualifications 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity Prior experience in project accounting , job costing, and revenue recognition within construction or related industries Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools ERP system experience required (CMiC preferred); Procore experience is a plus Ability to lead through change in a fast-paced and growing organization Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills • Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
