The Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. Super Home Services is a concierge-level interior and exterior residential service provider throughout the Southeastern US. Super Home Services aims to be a one-stop provider for all aspects of home services; from lawn care to pest control to HVAC to plumbing and more. Position Overview The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. This is a high-impact, complex role requiring strong leadership, analytical skills, and deep accounting expertise. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop financial forecasts and budgets to support strategic planning. Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks. Accounting Operations Supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient operations. Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with financial regulations. Strategic Planning & Analysis Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Evaluate financial performance and recommend improvements. Compliance & Audit Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.

Qualifications & Skills Experience & Expertise:

Minimum of 10 years in a Controller seat with demonstrated financial leadership. Previous experience working with Private Equity (PE) firms or PE-backed companies. Strong background in managing multi-entity financial structures. Data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities.

Technical & Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with multiple CRMs and ERP systems. Experience working with QuickBooks, though transitioning to more advanced financial tools.

Soft Skills & Attributes:

Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
