We are looking for a Controller to join a small, growing retail business in Jacksonville! This person will report directly to the CFO and will have oversight of accounting functions, as well as supervision over the accounting team. Job Duties Manage day to day operations of the accounting department Oversee all tasks in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare financial reports for the CFO Coordinate financial review and tax return preparation Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed accurately Oversee the month-end close process Maintain QuickBooks accounting software and offer departmental process improvements Qualifications 6+ years of experience in accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred Experience supervising accounting personnel Experience working with QuickBooks accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
