Job Description

Job Title:

VP of FinanceJob Description Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Responsibilities + Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk. + Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. + Recommend benchmarks to measure the company’s performance. + Produce the annual budget and forecasts; report significant budget differences to management. + Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. + Work with external auditors and provide necessary information for the annual audit. + File quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. + Develop relationships with accounts and perform collection tasks on an ongoing basis. + Develop and maintain relationships with banking and vendor partners. + Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Work Environment This position reports to the CEO/President and includes managing a team of three clerk-level accounting representatives. The role requires working on-site with business casual attire. The work schedule is full-time with a one-hour lunch break. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as occasional travel. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 – $200000.00/yr.
