Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial operations, including revenue models, reimbursement structures (Medicare, long-term care insurance, private pay), and compliance with industry regulations. Design and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, serving as a liaison to stakeholders such as the Board Finance Committee and regulatory agencies. Oversee accounting functions, including billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and Medicare reimbursement. Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and best practices, including Florida Statute Chapter 651. Deliver actionable insights through financial reporting and analytics for executive leadership and the board. Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Partner with operations, clinical, and administrative teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred. 10 years of progressive financial leadership, including 5+ years in senior living, healthcare, long-term care, or related industries. Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare billing, reimbursement structures, capital budgeting, and nonprofit financial operations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive strategy, and achieve organizational goals. Strong understanding of financial compliance, risk management, and industry-specific regulations. Familiarity with financial software and reporting tools common to senior living or healthcare sectors.
