We arecurrently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Controller tojoin our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated,detail-oriented professional to contribute to our financial team.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the preparation offinancial statements, monthly reporting, and general ledger (GL)management. This position requires a minimum of 2 years ofexperience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As an AssistantController, you will have a broad range of responsibilities thatinclude but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing in the preparationand presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financialstatements in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. 2.Overseeing the monthly reporting process, ensuring accurate andtimely reports for management. 3. Managing the general ledger,including the review of journal entries, balance sheetreconciliations, and variance analysis. 4. Supporting theController in ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.5. Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.6. Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensurecompliance with healthcare laws and regulations. 7. Participatingin the development and implementation of new accounting systems andprocesses. 8. Liaising with external auditors and managing auditprocesses. 9. Providing training and guidance to junior accountingstaff.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the AssistantController role will have the following qualifications: 1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. Aminimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience. 3.Proficient in the preparation of financial statements and monthlyreporting. 4. Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and themonth-end/year-end close process. 5. Excellent knowledge ofaccounting regulations and procedures, including the GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 6. Strong analytical skills,accuracy, and attention to detail. 7. Proficient in MicrosoftOffice Suite, with advanced Excel skills. 8. Experience withaccounting software and databases. 9. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. 10.
