Director of Finance ?Bradenton, FL | ? Full-Time Consulting | ?$140,000-$175,000 Our client, a well-respected organization in thehealthcare sector, is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance tolead a multi-functional finance department during a critical periodof strategic growth and operational transformation. This role isoffered as a full-time consulting opportunity , with potential forlong-term alignment. The Director will oversee core areas includingaccounting, treasury, accounts payable, financial reporting,Medicare cost reporting, reimbursement, and grants accounting-whileacting as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

KeyResponsibilities:

Lead all day-to-day financial operationsincluding accounting, AP, treasury, audits, cost reporting, andfinancial statement preparation Create and implement strategicplans and KPIs to monitor and improve financial performance Guideinternal controls, compliance initiatives, and audit readiness forexternal and regulatory bodies Collaborate with internal leaders toprovide accurate, timely financial reporting to support strategicdecision-making Maintain oversight of banking relationships, debtcompliance, profitability analysis, and cash flow strategy OverseeMedicare cost reporting, reimbursement procedures, and low-incomepool reporting Supervise finance staff and foster ahigh-performance, accountable team culture Identify opportunitiesfor process improvement, cost savings, and policy enhancementsacross finance operations Report to the SVP of Finance, andmaintain open communication with the CFO and executive leadership

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field required; Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 10years of experience in finance and accounting, with 3 years in aleadership capacity CPA license preferred (active and in goodstanding in Florida) Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiencywith financial reporting tools Experience in healthcare finance isstrongly preferred Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionalteams and drive organizational change Familiarity with MicrosoftDynamics and cost reporting processes is a plus
