We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Maintain and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the company’s assets. Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process and intermittent lender collateral audits, working closely with external auditors and providing necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Manage the preparation and submission of taxes, regulatory and compliance reports as required by local, state, and federal agencies. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts. Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management on financial performance, cost savings, and strategic decision-making.
